MEDIA TRANSPORTATION
The NHL will provide complimentary media shuttles to all media-related All-Star events. Shuttle schedules will be posted in the lobby level
Friday Jan. 25 – Shuttle will run every 30 minutes between the Marriott and Philips Arena beginning at 2:30 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m.
Saturday Jan. 26 – Shuttle will run every 30 minutes between the Marriott and Philips Arena beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at midnight
Sunday Jan. 27 – Shuttle will run every 30 minutes between the Marriott and Philips Arena beginning at 3:00 p.m. and ending at midnight
Load zone – Marriott Marquis: The drop off and pick up will be at the front of the hotel off of Peachtree Center Avenue.
Load Zone – Philips Arena: The media load zone is at the media entrance on the east side of Philips Arena off Park Avenue West.

Philips Arena is located next to CNN Center, at the intersection of Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive (formerly Techwood Drive)
Parking – Media parking will not be available at Philips Arena. Media are encouraged to use complimentary NHL shuttle transportation to all NHL All-Star events from the Marriott Marquis hotel.
Media Entrance – For security purposes, media must enter and exit the building through the media entrance located on the east side of the arena off Park Avenue West. Media will be asked to pass through metal detectors and have their bags inspected prior to entering the building; please allow for ample time. All media must wear league-issued media credentials at all times while in the arena.
Wireless Access & Phone Lines – All media areas on event and press level (including auxiliary seating) have wireless capability. Specific instructions will be available at all press seats.
Complimentary phone lines have also been installed in the press box, auxiliary press areas and media workroom.
Media Workroom – Located on the arena event level in the Media Center (Hawks' basketball court), the workroom will also host the formal interview area, Coaches Roundtable, YoungStars availability and the Eastern and Western All-Star availabilities.
** Important: Media will be asked to work from the press box during Friday evenings media events and Saturday mornings media availability – the press box will be fully functioning at this time, including wireless access and phone lines. The media workroom is located in the Hawks' basketball court and will be set with work stations in time for Saturday nights events.
Press Seating – Media seating charts will be posted through all media areas beginning Saturday night. Please note that media are not guaranteed a table-top position in the game viewing press areas. Additional space will be available in the media workroom (Practice Court)

Locker Room Access – The Eastern and Western Conference locker rooms are open to those media with a green band access credential. Locker rooms will be open for one-half hour, starting two hours prior to the Dodge/NHL SuperSkills and the 56th NHL All-Star Game, and will reopen no later than five minutes after the last player has entered the dressing room following the respective events.
Broadcast Regulations – Live and/or taped audio and video reports are permitted from inside Philips Arena until 30 minutes prior to each event (Jan. 26 – 6:30 ET; Jan. 27 – 5:30 ET). Live coverage may resume from inside the arena after all NHL broadcast/cablecast rightsholders (VERSUS, CBC, RDS, NHL Radio) are off the air following the event.
Photographers and Camera Positions – Jessica Tomao, NHL Images (C: 917 647-6716) , will assign positions and meet all photographers, at 5:00 p.m., two (2) hours prior to Saturday's Dodge/NHL SuperSkills event. Photographers are asked to meet at the Photo Filing area on event level. The Photo Filing area has been equipped with wireless internet access. Existing darkrooms will not be available.
