Set a franchise record with an eight-game multiple-point scoring streak from Nov. 3-19. The last NHL player to record as long a streak was Pittsburgh's Jaromir Jagr in 1996 (10 games).

The first player selected in the 1998 Entry Draft, Lecavalier has played each of his nine NHL seasons in Tampa Bay. The 27-year-old owns franchise records for career goals, points, power-play goals, game-winning goals and games.

Lecavalier and current teammate Brad Richards were teammates for the first time at the age of 14 when they were roommates at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Saskatchewan, Canada. They were also teammates in the QMJHL playing for the Rimouski Oceanic together in 1997-98 and were both selected by Tampa Bay in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
