Playing in his seventh NHL season, all with the Oilers, Horcoff has returned to the form that saw him post single-season career highs in goals (22), assists (51) and points (73) in 2005-06. He leads the club in goals and points and has logged an average of more than 22 minutes per game.

Horcoff scored on four of his first five shootout attempts this season, helping the Oilers win 11 of their first 12 decisions. He became the 15th player in Oilers history to tally 100 goals for the club on January 7.

Horcoff's father, John, also enjoyed a successful hockey career in Edmonton. He played for the University of Alberta Golden Bears on their 1975 CIAU championship team.
