Since Sergei Zubov entered the NHL for a full season in 1993-94, only Detroit's Nicklas Lidstrom has totalled more points than the Stars' defenseman.

Played in three straight All-Star Games for the World Team from 1998 through 2000, scoring a goal in the 1999 Game at Tampa Bay.

Became the third European defenseman (Nicklas Lidstrom and Borje Salming) and the first Russian defenseman to record 700 career NHL points (Dec. 16, 2006).

Zubov is the only NHL defenseman to collect 30+ assists and 40+ points for the past 11 seasons (1995 – present).
