Reached 100 points for his NHL career with a pair of goals and one assist on November 11 vs. Minnesota. He surpassed the 100-point mark in just his 99th career game, making him one of only six active players to record 100 points in fewer than 100 games – joining Alex Ovechkin (77 games), Sidney Crosby (80), Evgeni Malkin (89), Paul Kariya (98) and Sergei Fedorov (99).

Recorded an NHL rookie-record 20-game point streak from February 3 to March 17, 2007 posting 29 points (11-18-29). At 21 years old, he became the third youngest player in NHL history to record a 20-game points streak, following Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky.

Stastny will become the seventh son to have joined his father as a participant in an All-Star Game. His dad, Peter, played in six All-Star Games. Others include: Bobby Hull (12 games) and Brett Hull (8); Gordie Howe (23) and Mark Howe (4); Lidio Fogolin (2) and Lee Fogolin (1); Bill Dineen (2) and Kevin Dineen (2); Lionel Conacher (1) and Brian Conacher (1) and Syl Apps Sr. (2) and Syl Apps Jr. (1).

In 2005-06, with Denver University, tied for the club lead in team scoring with current San Jose Sharks defenseman Matt Carle (53 points).

Scored two goals and one assist in Denver University's 4-1 win over North Dakota in the 2005 NCAA championship game.
