He holds franchise records in numerous offensive categories, including goals, assists, power-play goals, game-winning goals and shots.
Despite missing 34 games last season, Gaborik ranked third on the club in scoring with 57 points (30 goals, 27 assists) in 48 games, reaching the 30-goal mark for the fourth time in the past five campaigns.
Gaborik became the first player in more than a decade to score five goals in one game Dec. 20 in a 6-3 victory over the New York Rangers at Xcel Energy Center. Gaborik scored one goal in the opening period and two in each of the second and third, becoming the first player to tally five times in one game since Detroit's Sergei Fedorov in a 5-4 overtime victory over Washington on Dec. 26, 1996. He was the first to do in regulation time since Pittsburgh's Mario Lemieux in an 8-4 victory over St. Louis on March 26, 1996.
