Marc SAVARD (sa-VAHR, MAHRK) Boston Bruins
On being named as an All-Star in 2008: "It's a huge honor to represent Boston and the fans here have been great to me ever since I came here. And obviously I owe a lot to my teammates. I think our record helps my status out in getting to the game."

On returning to Atlanta: "Going to Atlanta is huge. There's a lot of friends I made there in the 3 ½ years there. My family knows the area well, so bringing the family there is going be a great feeling and something that I'll never forget in my career."

On flying under the radar in 2006-07: "For a couple years things have been pretty good, but there are (lots of) great players, and they have been around for a lot of years. Hopefully I'll get more recognition on that end, but right now it's just trying to keep working every day and just staying positive and build off each year ... that's happened my whole career, but it's something I've thrived on."

On scoring goals: "After I didn't score for a while, I said to myself, ‘I really have to want to score goals.' And I think it's worked out better."

On his style: "I am a guy that likes to distribute the puck and I'd rather set up a teammate than score myself."

On his increased production: "I think it is ice time. My minutes in Calgary were not as much each night, and (now) I'm up to 20-plus. When you get ice time, you're going to get more chances and things will come together more. And I think that's the big thing, getting a chance to play a lot more on an every day basis."
