Jason ARNOTT (AHR-niht, JAY-suhn) Nashville Predators
Center. Shoots right. 6'4'', 220 lbs. Born, Collingwood, Ont., October 11, 1974.
Edmonton's 1st choice, 7th overall, in 1993 Entry Draft.
2007-08 Statistics as of Jan. 24/08: 49 GP – 17 G – 26 A – 43 Pts. – 36 PIM
Arnott was named the fourth captain in Nashville franchise history on Sept. 12, 2007.

Arnott tied for the team lead in goals (27) in 2006-07, his first season with the Predators. The 6-4, 220-pound center has posted more than 20 goals in eight straight seasons and 10 times total in his 13 NHL campaigns.

Arnott played on a line with Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne in his only All-Star appearance in 1997.

Arnott played in the 1997 All-Star Game in San Jose (January 18, 1997) despite the fact that he suffered a fractured ankle just three weeks earlier and wasn't expected to return until early February.

Arnott set a single-game franchise record for shots on goal with 12 vs. Toronto on Dec. 4/07, besting the previous mark of nine (reached five times, most recently by Paul Kariya on Jan. 30, 2007 vs. Colorado).
