Jarome IGINLA (ih-GIHN-lah, jah-ROHM) Calgary Flames
Calgary head coach Mike Keenan: "Each and every game, he's contributing either offensively or defensively. He's had a consistent 'A' game every night, which speaks volumes for his ability to prepare himself. Particularly when you are a star player, you know you're going to be checked every night."

Anaheim Ducks GM Brian Burke: "The one word I would say about Jarome Iginla is 'consistency.' He brings his A game every single night. Very few players can do that — play at that level of intensity. He is always dangerous. He will always have a role in the game every time you play him. He's going to throw a big hit, fight someone or score a big goal or make a big play. He always leaves a footprint on the game."

Los Angeles Kings defenseman Rob Blake: "He's not just a goal scorer. He's powerful, he's tough. He's the ultimate all-around player."

Calgary defenseman Adrian Aucoin: "I know one of the reasons I wanted to come here was so I could play on a team with Jarome Iginla.''

Calgary forward Craig Conroy: "It's fun to see him, how he's kind of evolved. He does so much more with the young guys, trying to help them get ready. He used to just focus on himself getting ready for games. Now he does it for everybody. He tries to get the whole team in that mode. Whenever there's something that needs to be said, he's saying it. Whether we need a day off, the guys are a little tired, whatever it is, he really is there for the team. He wants to do what's best for the team."

Calgary rookie Eric Nystrom: "It's unbelievable, the shot that he has. He gets it off quick. It's unreal. But it's not like he takes it for granted. He works at it. He's always working out in the gym, always shooting extra pucks. A great scorer, a great consistent player."
