On being named a 2008 All-Star: "I had a blast at the previous four. It's always nice to represent the Coyotes and the organization. It's a great honor, a fun weekend. The game is what it is...fun to go out there and enjoy the talent and a fun weekend for the family. "
On the new shootout format: "It'll be good for the fans. Those guys are so creative. It's a little different, something hopefully that brings our game right up there with other sports."
On signing with Phoenix: "I could feel Wayne's pride and determination to win over the phone that day. I have seen a lot of teams move from one level to another very quickly in recent years. And I was hoping I could fill a leadership role and help get the Coyotes to the next level."
