Keith leads all Blackhawks skaters in average ice time per-game this season. Should he continue to do so, it would mark the third straight season that the Winnipeg native has led the Blackhawks in ice time.
In his NHL debut on October 5, 2005 vs. Anaheim, Keith logged 24 minutes 18 seconds of ice time, second only to Adrian Aucoin's 31:27.
Keith played at Michigan State University with fellow NHLers Ryan Miller (Buffalo), John-Michael Liles (Colorado) and Adam Hall (Pittsburgh) before playing in the WHL for the Kelowna Rockets.
Keith supports the Teammates for Kids charity.
